Laura Zdychnec has been practicing law since 1991, and focuses her practice in the areas of elder law, estate and tax planning, probate, trust litigation, and guardianship and conservatorship. Laura excels at building relationships with her clients as she provides a compassionate and personal level of service. “The most rewarding aspect of our practice is empowering clients and their families with information and tools so that they feel prepared to handle the challenges they face.”
Laura is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Elder Law and Probate and Trust Law sections of the Minnesota State Bar Association. She serves on the Governing Council for the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Elder Law Section, and on the Public Policy Committee of the Alzheimer’s Association of Minnesota and North Dakota. Laura is a member of the Minnesota Association of Guardians and Conservators and is accredited as an advisor through the U.S Veterans Administration.
Laura is a graduate of Iowa State University, and Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota where she served as an editor of the Hamline Law Review and graduated 4th in her class.
Laura frequently speaks to community and support groups on elder law topics. She regularly teaches continuing legal education courses for attorneys through the Minnesota State Bar Association and for professionals obtaining continuing education credits through Kaplan Professional Schools.
Laura and her husband, Michael, have been married for 32 years, have two amazing adult children, and one perfect grandchild.
